Pancake Sunday

My hubby usually makes me pancakes, French toast, or cornmeal muffins for breakfast on Sundays. This time, we had them with fresh strawberries from our garden. What a treat!

Nesting Duck

I couldn't resist uploading another photo for today. This is the duck that is nesting in our neighbour's garden right in the middle of the city. She was well concealed, so this is the best shot I could get.

Bee Up Close

I shot this one with my new macro lens. :)

Colourful Threads

While I have been taking photos this week, I haven't uploaded any yet. However, I did not take one yesterday. I was too busy editing and uploading photos to Shutters.tock. I'm so excited I've been accepted as a submitter there! :)

My Favourite European Photograph

I did take a photograph today; however, I like this one much better. I took this way back when I was 18, visiting Neuschwanstein Castle, in Germany. We weren't allowed to take photographs inside the castle, but I asked if I could take one out the window. It's my all-time favourite photo. Oh how I love arches! (This is just a scanned copy from the print photograph I took way back then, so the quality isn't great.)

Beauty at the Grocery Store

An unusual view across the grocery store inspired today's photograph for the beauty of colours, shapes, and sizes all organized in neat rows. It's not a great picture, but I just had my point and shoot camera with me. This one's for you, Anne, an organizer's dream!
